Reg Logan was trained as a professional fashion illustrator in Boston in the 1950s and worked in graphic design for over 40 years. She was known for her quick hand and subtle sense of humor at the drawing table. In the 1980s Reg began making jewelry and was sought after for her pins and brooches that resembled insects both real and imagined. Her jewelry was exhibited at the Society of Arts and Crafts in Boston as well as in galleries across the country. In recent years Reg has been working in ceramics, covering the surfaces of her clay objects with intricate drawings. Her ceramics are carefully carved and glazed creating unique surface textures. Every piece conveys a story and has the ability to make the viewer laugh. Her work is both as strong and playful as she is herself. Her quick wit and love of the natural world is evident in all that she creates.
